Boy Smells was founded in 2015 by fashion veterans Matthew Herman and David Kien, who began by making fluid, essential products they wanted to use daily. Their candles, made with proprietary all-natural coconut wax and beeswax blend, feature founder-invented scents that wrap traditionally masculine scents in a prettier bouquet. In 2017, they launched their first collection of intimate apparel, and in 2021 and 2022, they expanded into fine fragrance and body care. Boy Smells aims to embrace both masculine and feminine simultaneously in a simple and straightforward way, creating meaningful rituals from the otherwise mundane experience.
