Katie Gong is a California-born artist known for her innovative steam-bent sculptures and woodwork. Her exposure to creative pursuits and problem-solving at a young age led her to develop her own art practice and business, Katie Gong Design, in 2012. Her unique steaming techniques allow her to mold wood into beautiful pieces of art, inspired by the physical beauty of the California landscape. She has exhibited her work at West Coast Craft and created custom design/build pieces for public spaces such as The Assembly and Anchor Brewing Public Taps.
